is ZIM Consultancy?

 

Ing. Marcel Zimmerman (1959) has over 20 years of experience in the machinery industry. During several management responsibilities, both national as international, he was successfully involved in the many aspects of realising growth and profits within the customised engineering industry. As a management consultant of his company ZIM Consultancy, he is involved on a daily basis in the actual productivity theme’s within this industry. Besides being an executive consultant,  ZIM Consultancy also researches the success factors within the customised engineering industry.

The Dutch Manufacturing Industry

 

One of the biggest branches of the Dutch manufacturing industry, is the Dutch Machinery & Equipment Industry. It contains approx. 3500 companies and directly employs approx. 80.000 people (2002, Source: CBS). The machine building industry includes 17 branches, varying from food machinery to agricultural machinery. This industry branch is characterised by one of the highest export percentages of the Dutch industry, and by relatively small production series. More….
